As an artist I am fascinated by the distillation of image gained through conservation of line.
My artwork explores viewpoint and change.
I am drawn to organic subjects that lend themselves
to accentuation of form and color
My current process begins with drawing in graphite on Birch panels.
I incorporate the art of Pyrography (drawing with fire)
to etch contour lines and then paint with oils.
I live and work as an artist and art teacher in Seattle, Washington.
